Autumn is a great time for self-reflection; when you consider whether those seeds you planted in spring, have grown strong and ready for harvesting.
For those of you who’ve already begun your LighterLife journey, now is the time to think about all of the things you’ve achieved in 2014 and make plans for everything you’d like to accomplish before the New Year.
And for those of you who are thinking of joining us, welcome, how was 2014 for you? If it’s failed to fulfill you and you’re looking to make a change in 2015 then you’ve come to the right place!
This autumn we’re celebrating the unique talents and qualities that make you, well you! Take a look at some of our fabulous LighterLifer’s who’ve already made the transformation and have begun showing off the unique skills that make them shine.
Stella Sydee’s illustration of triumph over adversity
“I like to paint and draw, and my LighterLife group was such an inspiration for my art. This is a drawing I did when I reached my goal weight. It depicts the struggles that I, and many other people, have faced.
The bottom lady is tangled in the ‘weeds’ in her life – the insecurities and negativity she struggles with. The woman on top is one who truly believes she can achieve anything her mind can conceive! I believe life can be an on-going orchestration between the two states.”
Paul Buckingham’s Parisian adventure
“Exercise is a real passion of mine, since reaching my goal weight I’ve completed eight 10K runs and countless charity sporting events. I even cycled to Paris last summer and I’ve raised thousands for charity in the process. Plus, I go to the gym around six times a week, I even teach a spin class – I can’t get enough!”
Emma Bexon’s weight loss momentum
“I wanted to share my sewing skills with the rest of my Counsellor group, so thinking outside the box, I transformed our baggy jeans into beautiful tote bags to have a positive memento of our journeys. You always see people holding up their old jeans to show the weight they’ve lost, so why not up-cycle them into something that can be used and loved, time and again!”
Steven Downes’s enthusiasm for exercise
“I love white-water rafting and try and fit it in whenever I have some spare time. I’ve also taken up walking, in which I track with RunKeeper and I also cycle and rollerblade to keep myself on the ball.”
We all have the ability to do the impossible and be limitless. Don’t let yourself shy away, burn bright and embrace your talent! We’d love to hear the qualities that make you amazing. Share them with us in the comments below, or join in the chat on our Facebook and Twitter pages over the coming weeks.
And remember, everyone starts their LighterLife journey in a different season of their life – whether you’re a new or existing client, let Autumn be the making of you.
