Lisa joined LighterLife after gaining weight in her early 20s when she met her husband and fell into the ‘comfort zone’.
‘For the past eight years I’ve been someone else. Now I’m back to the person I used to be. I’m much more active and I have more drive to do things.’

Feeling good in my own skin
It’s great being able to fit into skinny jeans and feel good in them, especially since the current fashion is for vibrant colours, which I love.
My shoe collection
When I was bigger, so many of my shoes had become too small or too painful to wear. I love being able to wear them all again comfortably.
I love the feeling of accomplishment I get after I’ve completed one of my classes at the gym. Knowing that five months ago I’d never have been able to do a class spurs me on.
I like to travel, and going on holiday is now much more fun! I can now cope with the heat better since losing weight, and can be more active when abroad. Recently, I’ve been to Cuba, the Maldives, Thailand and Dubai.
