1. Take some time and reconnect with your goals.
Remember how far you have come and how proud you already feel and think beyond Xmas to January 2012 and how pleased you know you will be if you maintain a healthy weight.
2. If you lapse, remember that one moment in time will not prevent you achieving your goals.
All journeys have unexpected detours which can take you momentarily off course and what matters is that you do what you need to do to get back on your course!!
3. Have a daily plan.
Start the day with mentally rehearsing what you plan to do and seeing yourself at the end of the day feeling proud and healthy because you have.
4. Create a word or symbol that reminds you of your goals and plan.
This will help you keep front of mind what your intentions are; you could write this on a sticker you have created or use a ready made one. Put it where you can see it, have more than one and put them in places where you think you need reminding!
5. Take some time and think about what is really important to you at this time of the year.
