Life after LighterLife: Management

October 14, 2011 - Living

PictureYou’ve achieved the weight loss with LighterLife, so what happens next?

The Management programme not only gives you the tools to shed the pounds, but also helps you to develop long term commitment to keep the weight loss up – enabling you to live a longer, healthier, happier life.

Why do Management?
The Management programme is about managing your life.It will teach you to control your emotions around food and to stop and THINK each time you feel the urge to eat to fill an emotional void.

Reintroduction of Food:
In phase one of Management you will eventually reintroduce a full range of conventional foods into your diet.  It is vital that this reintroduction of food is done at a gradual pace giving you time to reflect on particular foods that have lead you to gain weight in the past.

This programme will help you create an ideal healthy eating plan – offering recipes and cooking tips for you to play around with! Following this you will learn about different food groups, and receive portion advice as well as instructive guidance on how to create balanced meals.

How long does Management last?
Phase One lasts 8-24 weeks on LighterLife Total and 4-12 weeks on LighterLife Lite: depending on how long you choose to spend on each phase!

Throughout the phases you will receive constant weekly support and Management meetings. You can continue to go to these meetings upon completing Phase One.

Management is about challenging your perceptions – perceptions about food, and about yourself.

Unlike other weight loss plans there are NO hard and fast rules. No calorie counting, no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods. Instead it’s all about learning to live light in the long term. You are a Management member for life and we will always be there to support you.
